Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), has just announced a new program: STOMP — Systematic Targeting Of Microplastics. The goal is to accelerate how we measure, study, and ultimately affordably remove microplastics and nanoplastics (MNPs) from the human body.
This recognition of Microplastics as a threat is a win for researchers and advocates all over the world!
