As the year comes to an end, I’m really thankful for the chance to share the work of the Microplastics Team in the Biogeochemistry Lab with the Patrick Ruth Center for Environmental Science at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University

It’s been a great year working alongside an incredible group of dedicated volunteers as we continued to improve microplastic processing and imaging techniques. Together, we’ve been able to study a wide range of samples—from water and sediments to even birds.

 

I’m grateful for the collaboration, curiosity, and teamwork that made this progress possible, and I’m excited to see where the work takes us next.
